Nexus 5 coming last week of October, says new rumor

For us, if anything, the amount of hype surrounding the Nexus 5 is actually a bit underwhelming. That's because we consider the LG/Google Nexus 4 to be one of the best phones the industry has managed to churn out in the past few years, and the Nexus 5 is shaping to be just as great – affordable, but not at the expense of quality.


You might have 'heard' us saying that whenever the rate of rumors ramps up, it usually means that we're getting closer and closer to an actual release, and the Nexus 5 appears set to pay homage to our theory. Well, if you trust “sources close to the matter”, that is. Said more explicitly, a source for UK's TechRadar has reported for the publication that the Nexus 5 will ship as early as the last week of this month (referring to UK shipping).


The next iteration of the Nexus is said to cost “half the price” of an iPhone 5s, so we should see a similar pricing model to that of the Nexus 4.
